SIX Music Productions offers post-production (editing, mixing & mastering, or any combination of these) for audio projects. We are able to handle a number of formats, and undertake work on a variety of systems.Whilst we principally use the Pyramix editing system, our personnel are also skilled with SADiE, Sequoia, ProTools, and others. Original session material can come to us on DAT, CD-R, DVD, Hard Disc Drive, or direct from a multitrack machine (RADAR, MX2424, etc), and whether a .WAV, .BWF, .PMF, .SDII,or another audio file format, we can handle it. We are also able to work with older masters from now-obsolete formats (U-Matic, reel-to-reel analogue, DASH, etc), thanks to the availability of Floating Earth's Copy Room, which enables us to trasfer material from and to most formats old and new, ubiquitous and rare. We are able to work at high sample rates if desired (88.2 kHz, 96kHz, 192kHz), whether for DVD-A or CD release and also in DSD / DXD for SACD and CD products. Our well-equipped inventory, shared with the resources of Floating Earth , gives a variety of equipment and services that can be used in the post-production process. From de-clicking and noise removal with NOVA and Sonic's "NoNoise" [we also have an FTP link with the restoration and noise experts at CEDAR], through reverb (Lexicon 960L, 480L, TC M3000 etc.) and other outboard processing (EQ, Neve compression, Junger d01 & d03 etc...), we only use proven, high-quality equipment to keep our client's audio sounding excellent. We are always careful to keep our clients involved in the post-production process, and our edit suites are sufficiently large to allow clients to join us for editing, mixing or mastering if they wish. Six Music Productions can upload .mp3 and .WAV files of edits to the web for our clients - who are often travelling worldwide on a busy concert schedule - to download and listen to, as well as sending CDs by regular mail or courier.
